Responsibilities
- The primary responsibilities include performing day-to-day troubleshooting for incidents and problems reported by users, as well as ensuring timely updates in the ticket logging tool.
- Troubleshoot desktop/ laptop OS issues
- The tasks involve installing, reinstalling, configuring, and troubleshooting systems, printers, and scanners.
- Install/re-install/ configurate/ Troubleshoot of software/ applications
- Install/ configuration/ Troubleshooting of e-mail client
- Install antivirus software and check virus definition auto updates on desktops/ laptops which have failed automatic update
- The duty entails installing approved patches on desktops and laptops that have encountered automatic update failures.
- Remove virus from respective desktop/ laptop
- The role involves handling IMACs (Install, Move, Add, and Change) that are pre-approved and have low impact.
- OS builds from approved image
