Responsibilities
  • Conduct quick and visual reviews of print book files, adhering to specified guidelines and training.
  • Execute repetitive tasks, relying on judgment-based decisions, while following the provided standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Thoroughly compare each task against the outlined specifications in the SOPs.
  • Work autonomously within general workflow guidelines to achieve targets and meet timelines.
  • Demonstrate fair judgment in understanding instructions from Subject Matter Experts, managers, or SOPs while performing tasks.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of any questions to Quality Assurance Specialists and Quality Assurance Leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily work using Excel for data recording purposes.
Basic qualifications
  • Possesses a working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Word and Excel.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English language skills.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment that relies on software systems and processes.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and making quick visual decisions based on training.
  • Willingness and ability to work on weekends.
Preferred qualifications
  • Preferred knowledge/experience in the publishing industry.
  • Experience in quality assurance.
  • Proficient in tracking and managing data.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new systems and software.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Possesses excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
