Quality Assurance Associate
As a Quality Assurance Associate, your primary responsibility will be to promptly evaluate the quality of print book files and make decisions in alignment with provided specifications and instructions. Ensuring the final file meets the required quality standards will be your accountability, and you must possess the keen ability to accurately determine compliance or non-compliance with specifications. Strong attention to detail and adaptability to evolving instructions are crucial for success in this role. Additionally, professionalism, self-reliance, proficiency in decision-driven workflows, and Excel proficiency for data tracking are essential attributes. It’s important to note that this position also requires maturity and the ability to approach the review of explicit adult content from a clinical perspective, which may involve nudity and strong language.
Responsibilities
- Perform swift visual assessments of print book files, adhering to specifications and training provided.
- Perform repetitive tasks that necessitate making judgment-based decisions in accordance with the provided guidelines in the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Thoroughly compare each task with the specifications outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Independently operate within overarching workflow guidelines to achieve targets and adhere to timelines.
- Exercise impartial judgment when executing tasks, following instructions from Subject Matter Experts, managers, or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Effectively communicate any questions to Quality Assurance Specialists and Quality Assurance Leads.
- Record daily work data using Excel.
Basic Qualifications
- Possess proficient knowledge of Microsoft systems, specifically Word and Excel.
- Fluent spoken and written English language skills.
- Demonstrate the capacity to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment characterized by software systems and streamlined processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make quick visual decisions based on training.
- Availability to work on weekends.
