Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
- Develop comprehensive and well-structured test cases that address all details.
- Proficiently estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing efforts.
- Create and execute meticulously designed test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs in a meticulous manner.
- Perform rigorous regression testing after bug resolution.
- Develop and apply testing protocols for both new and existing products.
- Collaborate actively with internal teams (developers, product managers) to understand system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process outcomes continuously.
- Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demonstrations to the Product team.
- Vigilantly monitor and record quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
- Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Action Items
- Articulate bugs/issues proficiently, along with explaining their root causes to developers.
- Possess a deep understanding of Manual Testing concepts and well-honed Manual Testing Skills.
- Extract pivotal test scenarios from requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
- Work effectively under tight delivery timelines.
- Demonstrate competence in both autonomous work and collaborative contributions within a team.
- Utilize extensive experience with the Defect Life Cycle and tools like JIRA for defect tracking.
- Exhibit multitasking, prioritization, and adherence to deadlines.
- Create test plans and test cases that are clear, succinct, and encompassing.
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is considered valuable.
Qualifications
- Hold a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
