Responsibilities
- The role involves supporting financial analyses such as budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, reconciliation, and financial modeling, with the aim of providing management with valuable information.
- The position involves gathering budget, midyear forecast, and other financial data in order to provide insights on profit and loss information.
- The role involves analyzing budget, midyear forecast, and other financial information, and making recommendations to management regarding basic problem identification and correction, as well as addressing any inconsistencies.
- The position involves contributing to the development and upkeep of financial statements through the utilization of accounting and budgeting software. This is done with the purpose of providing standardized reports to both customers and management.
- There is a possibility of providing financial training to employees with the aim of enhancing their understanding and assisting them in the completion of budgets and other financial analyses.
- The role involves actively monitoring and resolving issues while delivering financial reports to user organizations.
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is mandatory for candidates.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Zero or more years of experience in finance or accounting
- Experience in working with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and proficiency in accounting software is required.
