Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for networking features, equipment, and associated systems utilizing automation tools.
- Create and set up testbeds to evaluate networking software, topologies, and migrations. Collaborate closely with development teams to formulate effective test strategies.
- Demonstrate innovation in devising solutions for intricate and open-ended challenges. Validate software releases, novel topologies, and migration strategies for widespread adoption.
- Offer specialized expertise in network test engineering, encompassing various software testing methodologies.
- Prioritize testing activities for projects or releases, including identifying critical points that could affect release readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical leaders and software engineers to contribute to system design enhancements.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Network Testing.
- Exhibit proficiency in Network Test Automation, TCP/IP, IP Peering, Network Protocol Management, Network Troubleshooting, Network Design, C++, and Go.
- Display familiarity with Kubernetes and Virtualization technologies.
- Demonstrate competence in managing operational live production networks, such as ISP or customer networks.
- Showcase expertise in testing networking products and executing network migrations or deployments.
- Possess experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems.
