Job description
As a Software Engineer in Quality Assurance (QA), your main objective is to uphold and improve the overall quality of the product by implementing and following best practices in both automated and manual testing processes. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, assuming responsibility for ensuring the software’s quality, which is developed collectively. By utilizing diverse agile project planning and delivery methodologies, you will consistently strive to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring comprehensive application test coverage.
- Composing functional test cases for new enhancements.
- Leveraging your skill set, which includes hands-on expertise in manual software testing and indirect domain knowledge, you will bring valuable insights and capabilities to the table.
- Collaborating closely with software developers, product owners, and quality assurance analysts to prioritize reported software issues.
- Identifying and automating test cases to enhance automation coverage.
- You will be responsible for executing and documenting the outcomes of both automated and manual test cases.
Education & Skills
- Required Professional degree (B.E/B.Tech) in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in software testing.
- You have demonstrated proficiency in working effectively both independently and collaboratively.
