Job description
As a Senior Executive/Executive Category, your role entails overseeing and managing the assigned categories, aiming to enhance the user experience by delivering comprehensive and relevant information to the users within those categories.
Operations
In this role, you will have the responsibility of effectively managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing all operational aspects. This position necessitates the skills to conduct thorough root cause analyses, optimize the sales funnel, and formulate actionable plans to drive continuous process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research by engaging with sellers and buyers through phone calls, as well as by exploring other e-commerce platforms, in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of how businesses operate within your assigned category.
- Facilitate easier discovery for buyers by enhancing the categorization of your assigned category, with the goal of establishing it as a prime destination within IndiaMART. Additionally, work towards attracting a greater number of sellers to your category and promoting increased seller aggregation.
- Discover new sellers by identifying reliable sources that can facilitate connections with potential sellers, and subsequently onboard them to IndiaMART. For instance, explore opportunities to add distributors of well-known brands as a means to expand the pool of sellers on the platform.
- Enhance the content of existing catalogs by updating product information through the inclusion of brochures, PDFs, and website references provided by the sellers. This process will enrich the content and provide buyers with comprehensive details about the products available on IndiaMART.
- Conduct quality checks on the assigned category pages to ensure accuracy and relevance by promptly removing incorrect products and irrelevant information. This will contribute to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the category pages on IndiaMART.
Education Required
The educational qualifications required for this role include a B.Tech/B.E degree in a relevant field, a B.Sc degree in Computer Science, a BCA degree in Computers, or any Doctorate degree.
