About the role
In this role, you will assume a pivotal position responsible for managing our online video metadata, a critical component of the Gracenote video data ingestion platform. Your primary function will involve extracting data from the digital catalogs of prominent media outlets such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and iTunes. Subsequently, you will be tasked with meticulously preparing and refining this data to facilitate its seamless integration into Gracenote’s editorial curation process.
Responsibilities
- Create, curate, and enhance metadata for online videos from platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and iTunes.
- Prepare data for Gracenote’s editorial teams to ensure accurate curation.
- Craft synopses in English based on plot understanding.
- Generate synopses in various character lengths.
- Conduct research to rephrase content and prevent plagiarism.
- Adhere to the in-house writing style for consistency.
- Verify facts using standard reference sources.
- Work diligently during tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
- Establish and maintain communication with broadcasters and content providers.
