Job Description
- Collaborate with business teams to enhance value and drive business impact through improved data availability, visualization, and analysis.
- Explore, analyze, and interpret trends within complex datasets to offer insights to senior management.
- Define data needs and quality standards, collaborating closely with Data Engineers to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Requirements
- Proficient in SQL querying and knowledgeable about database structures to extract required data for analysis.
- Skilled in crafting compelling narratives and creating impactful visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Expertise in analyzing large datasets, extracting valuable business insights, and presenting analyses through reports and presentations.
- Experienced in identifying root causes of issues, evaluating risks, and implementing viable solutions.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, including the use of pivot tables and functions, for exploratory data analysis.
Good to Have Requirements
- Experienced in using data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Periscope for development purposes.
- Basic comprehension of another programming language, preferably Python or R.
